Happy 6th Birthday to my Tay Bug!!!

Cam and I made cupcakes for Tay's party. He is the best little helper, super good at stirrin things up and droppin one chocolate chip in at a time... One in the bowl...then one in his mouth...then one in the bowl.

Just as requested: Chocolate Chip cupcakes with pink frosting and bows...

Princess Tay had the girls over for some tea and princess wand making...

Some games were played...

Some presents were opened...

Some cupcakes were eaten...

and all the little princesses lived happily ever after.

My Latest Crafting Project...

tried to get creative with the "headboard" in my new room. Here's how it turned out:

i just LOVE old photos!!! Was able to get some from Uncle Chris from the Albright side and some from Grandma Carol for the Brazner side. I also added a few pictures of people who have influenced me.

I'd just like to take a blog to boast about how AH-Mazing my roommates are... believe it... i've got proof. This is what i woke up to the morning of my birthday. Continue with caution, you will be jealous that you never had or never will have greater roomies then this:

the view as i open my bedroom door that morning...

what more could a girl want then a trail of hugs and kisses and ballons... NOTHING!!!

ok i lied... i could also want all of my favorite things..

...Dr. Pepper, DARK chocolate reeces, cupcakes with candles, more hugs!

Casey calling me two days later on Curt's birthday. haha. thank you Casey and Lori for singing to me like Granny and Grandpa i loved it.
Thanks to all of you who make my day incredible it was simply the best.

thought i'd put up an update on what i've been up to. After graduation i moved to Huntington Beach CA. I've living downtown only two blocks from the beach, LOVE IT! I've living with a girl from Maui, Angelynn. We ironically never met on Maui even though we're the same age. Long story short we found each other on craigslist. I know that sounds scary these days but it turns out that our Dad's know each other, and we also know a million of the same people. So yah i'm just livin and havin fun in huntington, and working as a server at the cheesecake factory. here's a few pics of my new place.

Our washer and dryer weren't hooked up when i first moved in so we spent an awesome friday night at the laundry mat.

Behind the Name

To start i wanted to explain how i came up with the name Olive Rraine. Just like many of you, Granny (Barbara Lorraine Albright) had an amazing impact on my life. All the wonderful crafty things i love to do i learned from her, especially sewing. So i used a common nickname and a portion of Granny's middle name to create a title that hopefully one day will be the brand of my clothing line. Grandpa gave Granny the nickname Olive Oyl way back when because of her thin body (although i'm not quite sure she was happy about that). Then about two years ago a friend of mine from school, Vlada, joked that i looked like Olive and the name stuck. For the second part of my title i've just always loved the name Lorraine so i made a slight twist and dropped the Lo. So in a nut shell that's how i got the title Olive Rraine. i hope there will much more to come out of the name.
